We wish to invite you to a new series of messages called Generous.
The positive impact of being generous is a topic that universities and medical centers are increasingly studying. Researchers are discovering and documenting the benefits that come as people engage in generous practices. Being generous has a measurable, positive impact on an individual’s body, mind, and spirit, as well as on wider society. Of course, this research confirms what our faith already teaches us: that humanity is created in the image of God, and we are called into relationship with a gracious, generous God who made us, so we are at our best, reflecting God, as we are generous.
Join us on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. for a wonderful season where we practice and grow as we experience the wonder of being generous together.
What we focus on gets magnified. We are invited to seek the kin(g)dom of God and experience a growing trust and freedom from worry.
When we find our contentment in God, we are freed for a changed perspective on money – no longer all-important for our happiness, but rather a tool to be used in our lives.
Just as God’s grace flows from Christ to the church, we are called to be conduits of grace to bless the world.
Though we may, at times, face scarcity, Jesus receives what we offer, blesses it and provides for us and through us.
