Pastor Albert recently attended the 2021 General Synod meeting of the Reformed Church in America, which gathered from October 13 to 19 in Tucson, Arizona. As serving president, he represented the Regional Synod of New York as a voting delegate.
Many important issues were before the assembly, including the report of the Vision 2020 team, with recommendations on how the RCA can move forward in spite of different views on same sex relationships.

Pastor Albert mentioned that he arrived at the meeting with some cynisism, but left with a renewed hope in his heart for the future of our Reformed Church in America.
