CCD Delivers

Brown Bag Sunday

Each year over the Thanksgiving period, CCD does a drive to collect non-perishable food in support of the Queens Reformed Church food pantry in Queens Village. It is called Brown Bag Sunday. Members contribute by filling up a brown bag with food. In addition, bags are delivered to many of our neighbors in Douglaston on a Sunday by our Sparks Youth Group, and then picked up the next Sunday. This year's effort was a great success with 41 bags of food collected. The bags were delivered to Queens Reformed Church on Sunday, November 24.

Thank you to our faithful leaders who coordinated this effort and to our young people for their help. Thank you also to all our members and neighbors who contributed food.
