On Sunday, July 11, members and friends of CCD gathered at the Douglaston Dock for the 49th Annual Galilean Service. Beautiful music for the service was provided by Marie Mularczyk and Pastor Albert preached a message on Matthew 8:23-27. In his message he shared with all that storms are part of our existence. Having faith doesn not mean that Jesus will remove every strorm from our lives. It does mean, however, that Jesus is always with us in the boat and wants us to have faith, not fear, and that he will get us through the storm.

Loved ones who passed away over the last year were also remembered, and a special wreath was walked to the end of the dock, where it was put in the water.

A video of the full service is available on our sermons page: https://ccdouglaston.org/podcasts/media/2021-07-11-in-the-eye-of-the-storm
