How often do you find yourself thinking, “It’s too late”—too late to change, to overcome a struggle, to heal a relationship, or even for the world to be different? Through Jesus, we are assured it is not too late. God does not give up on us. God keeps calling us to turn around and come home. This turning is called repentance—a gift that makes real change possible, not only for us as individuals but for our communities. Repentance is often tangled up with guilt and shame, but in this Lenten season of self-examination, we will discover together that it is actually a source of hope, freedom, and transformation.
